    Michael C. Neal, senior vice president, president, Cerner Pacific, is responsible for all client activities, including implementations, support and sales, for several of Cerner Corporation’s operating areas. This area includes Cerner’s largest installed clients in the West, Midwest and Great Lakes regions of the United States, as well as the global regions of Canada, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America.

    Neal’s leadership team consists of general managers in each country, with eight geographically-based general managers in the United States, a chief nursing officer and a chief medical officer.

    Neal joined Cerner in 1998. For the past six years he has worked closely with Cerner clients in the western region of the United States. Before that, he was responsible for many of Cerner’s implementation strategies and consulting operations.

    Prior to joining Cerner, Neal was an associate partner with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He spent 11 years at Andersen Consulting, focusing on systems integration and re-engineering efforts for major corporations across a variety of industries.

    Neal received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance and economics, from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

    Cerner Pacific encompasses: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Northern California, North Dakota, Oregon, Southern California, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Also Asia-Pacific, Canada and Latin America.
