Don Bisbee


  • Don Bisbee, senior vice president, DeviceWorks, is responsible for leading the strategies of new technologies to optimize workflow, infrastructure and medical device interoperability.

    The organization works with clients and partners to provide comprehensive solutions that support the transformation of health care. The focus is on person-centric workflow improvements, with technology as an enabler in driving patient safety, automation and efficiencies. In doing so, Bisbee oversees the development, growth and global delivery of these solutions.

    Bisbee was previously responsible for all client relationships, consulting, sales, technology and support services in the Southeast United States.

    Bisbee joined Cerner in August 1995 and was responsible for new business development in the south central United States. He also led the sales organization that transitioned Cerner’s remote hosting business from a start-up to one of Cerner’s largest business segments.

    Since joining Cerner, Bisbee has been involved in start-up and new growth areas. He was part of the team that developed Cerner’s operational management services, the company’s first step into managed services. He then moved into the consulting organization where he played a leadership role in developing and selling Cerner’s advanced technology offerings supporting the Millennium 3-tier client architecture.

    Bisbee earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
