Global Overview

  • Since 1985, Cerner has invested globally to provide state of the art solutions to transform health care practice. Cerner is reinventing health care information systems from the ground up, putting customer demands and patient needs at the center of our solutions.

Today, our solutions are helping improve care delivery at more than 20,000 facilities around the world. With our unified architecture, Cerner can readily adapt to changes in technology and methods of care delivery. Cerner works closely with national, regional, state and community governments to determine solutions to very difficult challenges. As individual countries are stressed by spiraling health costs, they are working at all levels of healthcare to determine a solution. As examples of our effort to improve health and care around the world, Cerner is currently collaborating with the State of New South Wales in Australia; the NHS within the United Kingdom; Canadian Infoway; the Ministry of Health in Malaysia; the General Authority for Health Services for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia.

Cerner strongly believes in the value of employing local talent that is familiar with health care in their country. Cerner also actively partners with local companies to understand business environments and practices. Cerner looks for companies with excellent reputations in their fields of expertise to assist in delivering the right solutions for health care professionals.

Cerner will continue to commit resources to lead further innovation in the delivery of health care. It is our belief that only the most powerful and unified information technology can transform health care into a better, safer and more efficient service.
