Hometown health care: KU Hospital, Cerner expand partnership

The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., announced Thursday that it’s leveraging Cerner Corp.’s HealtheIntent population health management platform to coordinate and manage care in rural Kansas communities. Specifically, KU Hospital will use Cerner’s HealtheCare system that uses algorithms to identify, stratify and prioritize individuals for assignment to aligned care managers.
