CERNER APPOINTS NEW STRATEGIC EXECUTIVE
Cerner Corporation announced today Richard Craven as Sales Director with Cerner’s UK Organisation.
Craven brings nearly 20 years of director level experience in global healthcare technology industries and a strong business acumen to the role. As Sales Director, Craven will be responsible for all new business sales in the United Kingdom.

Throughout his career, Craven has been responsible for the strategic and operational development of healthcare technology companies in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific regions. He has a proven track record of developing effective strategies for product, commercial and operational development and for working across organisations to implement necessary change to achieve challenging goals. He is the author of several articles on healthcare IT solutions and has early practical experience as a paramedic delivering frontline health services.
Prior to joining Cerner, Craven was a healthcare technology advisor to corporate finance and private equity and director of Global Sales, Marketing and Product Development for a provider of clinical decision support solutions whose customers included the Department of Health, NHS Direct and more than 40 NHS trusts in the UK. In addition to his role at Cerner, Craven provides strategic insight on financial, operational and managerial matters as an independent advisor for the Derbyshire Police.
