United Kingdom Looks to Virginia Mason as Model to Reshape Hospital Culture

Virginia Mason Medical Center responded to a medical mistake in 2004 by changing hospital culture, says Britain's top health official, who is calling for a similar response in Britain, where a report found as many as 1,200 patients died from neglect and abuse in a hospital system there.
