Vital electronic patient record project begins in West Suffolk
11 August 2014
West Suffolk NHS Trust has appointed Cerner to supply its electronic patient record system.
Cerner will work with the Trust to develop a solution integrating acute and community records. The work will enhance the integration of care services across the Trust.
The appointment marks a significant extension of Cerner's UK footprint as the NHS plans for the end of the National Programme for IT in 2015 and seeks to meet Government targets to become paperless by 2018.
