2009 Agenda and Presentations
The 2010 Leadership Forum agenda has not been released; however, below is a discussion of the 2009 Forum.

In 2009, healthcare leaders discussed the challenges and opportunities of health reform initiatives and the role senior executives can take to capitalize on the changing industry landscape. Len Nichols, director of the Health Policy Program at the New America Foundation, opened the event by providing insight into the current healthcare landscape. From Mr. Nichol’s overview, we moved into a conversation about “meaningful use”. Members of the HIT standards committee provided insight into the committee discussions that were foundational in defining meaningful use recommendations and criteria.

The final sessions of the day were focused on innovation and next steps healthcare executives can take to push forward to true healthcare delivery reform. In addition to these discussions, there was ample networking time during the Solutions Gallery reception and at the networking lunch.
