What is Cerner Clinicals?
Cerner Clinicals is an Enterprise Wide Medical Record (EMR) that can also be used in the Mental Health and Community environments as well as the Acute environment. This system allows for:
- Assessments of Vital Signs
- Order Management (Laboratory and Radiology Orders)
- Result Viewing
- Flowsheet
- Discharge Summaries (including free text TTO)
- Inbox
- Diagnosis and Procedure Coding
- Clinical Notes
- Clinical Workstation (PowerChart)

- Nursing Orders
- All other orders deemed necessary to support pathways
- Additional assessment forms
- Additional nursing documentation forms
- Additional clinician documentation
- Orders to request logic for new orderables where appropriate
- Core Document Management functions:
- Attachment of a bi-tonal image referral letter into a file attached to clinical notes
- Attachment of the document to a clinical event and ability to view via the clinical notes, flowsheet and scheduling appointment book
- Prevention, Screening and Surveillance capabilities
- Support for identification of individuals within target groups
- Ability to match individuals to appropriate appointments
- Support for production and dispatch of invitations to screening events
- Support for prevention and screening recall activities
- Management of non-responders-tracking
