uCern: connecting Cerner and your world

The important work of transforming and improving healthcare can only happen through the collaborative efforts of our clients, industry partners and associates. That’s why we created uCern, a contextual collaboration and social networking platform.

uCern is a place where you can share your thoughts and ideas, make connections with your peers across the industry and gain insights into how Cerner is approaching many of the issues facing healthcare today.  However, uCern is not merely a technology platform. It’s an experience, where healthcare and technology intersect, where you are able to collaborate and innovate with purpose and understanding.

New venue for collaboration

For many of you, this will be a new way of interacting with your peers and with Cerner. For others, it will deepen your existing connections with other clients and with Cerner. uCern allows you to:

• Connect with other users and organizations like yours by browsing directories of groups or by searching for people you might know.
• Share your knowledge with others in a uCern community by starting a discussion, setting up your blog, or browsing for content that interests you.
• Learn by accessing content in one defined place, called the Learning Center. You can also take advantage of wiki-based collaborative documentation.
• Innovate as your contributions to the uCern community have a direct impact on future developments and solutions from Cerner.
