Cerner has partnered with Certify Data Systems to provide clients with HealthDock™ technology. The HealthDock™ is an intelligent appliance that enables the secure electronic flow of clinical data between hospitals and physician offices, regardless of their electronic health record (EHR) system being used.

HealthDock™ delivers clinical information directly to the physician’s electronic medical record (EMR) for immediate access. For fully or partially paper-based practices, HealthDock™ delivers clinical data to physicians’ e-mail accounts using encrypted PDF files. The HealthDock™ features real-time push technology, so physicians no longer need to call the hospital or query Web portals for lab results, discharge summaries, radiology reports or other critical elements of patient information. A unique Distributed Master Patient Index (MPI) keeps patient information securely in the hands of physicians. Cerner’s bi-directional platform allows physicians to place orders for hospital services. With Cerner, physicians can focus on their patients; not whether or not the medical record is complete.

The HealthDock™ is designed for all physician practices – from large multi-specialty clinics with hundreds of doctors to the single physician practice. HealthDock™ supports nearly any local IT environment or level of sophistication, whether the physician office currently uses an EHR system, does not use an EHR, or is planning for one in the future.

Cerner WebConnect™ is a comprehensive, easy-to-use, Web-based solution that supports laboratory outreach order entry, specimen management and result reporting, while directly connecting to a physician EHR.

Cerner WebConnect™ also maintains and improves client satisfaction by making it easier for outreach customers to request services and receive results. Through Cerner WebConnect™, service providers can increase collections and cash flow by ensuring compliance with regulations and common billing practices.

Additional solution details

Cerner WebConnect™ is a Web portal that ensures connectivity and reliability, but does not require an implementation in a physician office. It is ideal for physicians looking for a unique, easy-to-use solution for managing orders and results.
