King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) has inked a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle to accelerate the application of electronic medical records technology and improve digital transformation in the Saudi healthcare sector.

KFSH&RC Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Majid Al Fayyadh, and Oracle Health EVP and General Manager, Travis Dalton, attended the signing ceremony. The memorandum will harness KFSH&RC’s capabilities and expertise and help expand the deployment of Oracle solutions across the Saudi healthcare sector. It will also assess health facility needs, develops scope, and lay out a plan to meet the sector's expectations. 

Both organizations aspire to boost the performance of Saudi healthcare institutions, improve service quality, promote patient safety, and provide a supportive platform conducive to innovation. The agreement will enable healthcare professionals to serve patients better.

The MoU aligns with KFSH&RC's strategic goals of advancing and deploying health technology to improve services and hone healthcare professionals' skills and abilities. It will strengthen the hospital's position as a world-renowned leader in medical innovation.
