SEHA enhances pediatric care across the emirate of Abu Dhabi

Client outcomes were achieved in respective settings and are not representative of benefits realized by all clients due to many variables, including solutions scope, client capabilities and business and implementation strategies. In order to reduce dosing errors for IV medications, 210 order sets were developed for Pediatrics and a further 92 for NICU, to help make the ordering process safer and quicker.

SEHA saves money, helps patients by creating payment denial alerts

SEHA Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) is saving thousands of dirhams a month by making it easier for providers to avoid payment denials from insurance companies. Social transformation of health care

To help populations live fully and healthily, smart health management is of core value. It refers to an integrated approach where an organization takes up the responsibility for holistic health care and all health-care-delivery-related functionalities, which is data- (hence evidence-) driven. It not only helps in generating data, but also guides the organizations in making informed decisions around designing strategies for the best outcomes.

Why optimization potentially saves clinician's and patient's lives

As we look towards a world without medical error, we often consider activities which can improve patient safety but there is one area, often overlooked, that has time and again been proven to nearly double the risk of patient safety incidents (OR, 1.96 95% CI, 1.59-2.4) and reduce quality of care (OR, 2.31; 95% CI 1.87-2.85)[1]; an epidemic that currently appears to have no amelioration that of Clinician Burnout.

Transforming health care in a hospital where you can be a child

Raising children can be one of the hardest tasks. No wonder it is often said ‘raising children is like chewing on stone’! And so, providing care to children is even more complicated. It’s hard, complex and must be provided with the utmost care and diligence because children are not just small adults! Hence, it’s essential that the electronic health record (EHR) deployed in a pediatric hospital can handle the complexities of providing specialty care to our children in a safe environment. It requires specific functionalities, workflows, reference ranges and observations to support the work of pediatric care providers.
