PowerChart Maternity™ gives the provider a single point of entry for documentation of an active pregnancy from the initial antenatal visit through the postpartum follow-up visit. The Model version provides obstetric and neonatal specific workflow pages. PowerChart Maternity encompasses both obstetric ambulatory and inpatient workflows.
PowerChart Maternity provides specific antenatal documentation with at-a-glance access to the full antenatal workflow. Antenatal specific workflow pages will provide all the information required for antenatal visits, with at-a-glance information for quick access to vital pregnancy information.
With every visit there will be an antenatal card that will be pulled from the nursing documentation, allowing the physician to compare all visits side-by-side and on one page.
Enables care providers to access up-to-the-minute clinical information for mothers and babies. Using the unified Cerner Millennium® architecture, providers access an EHR that works in both the ambulatory and acute care settings.
A mobile viewing application for maternal and fetal monitoring data provides a graphical display of the relationship between fetal heart rates and contraction data.
Our integrated maternal and fetal monitoring system facilitates the flow of data from medical devices, to support the display needs of clinicians both in an acute and outpatient setting. Incorporating fetal monitoring data directly into the EHR.
The Model system provides obstetric-specific plans of care, ensuring that care is planned using the most up-to-date evidence base.
The tracking board gives a comprehensive overview of all patients in a specific location removing the need for the usual white board. This provides all health care providers vital patient information by using icons so clinicians can see the woman’s status at a glance.
A hyperbilirubinemia graph is available to assess and track phototherapy requirements.
The partogram is automatically populated and shows the progress of labour graph form. This gives an immediate view of the labour progress.
Newborn documentation can be managed directly from the mother’s chart and immediately linked to the mother’s information. This flows directly to the newborns chart, removing the need to double document this information. This is known as the result copy.
The mother and newborn’s charts are linked so that pregnancy and delivery information flow directly to the newborn’s chart, eliminating the need for transferring information and documenting in both charts.
This captures all of the antenatal, intrapartum and immediate post-partum information, eliminating the need to document in a labour room log book. This can be used for tracking, auditing and monitoring purposes.
IVF information can be stored and documented in an absolutely secure environment. The IVF information for both male and female patients can be viewed concurrently. This can be integrated with SurgiNet®, so that users have immediate access and the ability to document invasive IVF procedures. Once a pregnancy has been determined, this information will flow to PowerChart Maternity, therefore providing the continuum of care documentation.
