WHITE PAPER
COVID-19 recovery for ICSs

NHS England (NHSE) has laid out an ambitious goal to tackle the backlog of care caused by the COVID-19 pandemic: supporting systems to deliver around 30% more elective capacity by 2024-25 than pre-2020.

Beyond this recovery programme for elective care services, mental health, community and primary care also face unprecedented backlogs of demand. NHSE’s operating priorities will not be achieved by overworking caregivers and staff, but rather by enabling them to work smarter and in a more collaborative manner.

Learn more about how ensuring pathways are digitally enabled and person centred is critical to tackling the elective backlog.
