Cerner Corporation announced today that Donald Trigg, president, Cerner, will speak at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Innovation Summit on Oct. 6, 2020.
Along with Google, Microsoft, Roche/Genentech and Cleveland Clinic executives, Trigg will participate in a discussion, Merging Lanes: Digital Healthcare & Data Privacy. The panel discussion will focus on how medical devices are revolutionizing patient care with their ability to diagnose, monitor and even treat through data.
The Patient data held in digital systems are governed by laws that predate most online and mobile services utilized today. Without clear and current policy guardrails, full potential of the data can’t be realized. The panel will share insights into how digital healthcare and data privacy initiatives can merge lanes to drive toward practical, protected patient data.
