Region Skåne först i Sverige med modernt vårdsystem

Region Skåne har tecknat avtal med Cerner Sverige för en sammanhållen digital vårdmiljö och kan med detta ersätta hundratals befintliga IT-system på sjukhus och i primärvården till en helhetslösning. Det nya systemet omfattar en tjänst för befolkningshälsa och ett modernt journalsystem som möjliggör ökad patientdelaktighet, högre patientsäkerhet och förbättrad arbetsmiljö för vårdpersonalen.

As a practicing family physician and guideline developer in Finland in the late 1980s, I noticed a fast-growing body of medical knowledge and increasing access to patient data. But keeping track of all that data in a meaningful way seemed impossible. In addition, I saw there was a growing opportunity for knowledge authors to integrate information with individual patient data.

The University Hospital of Ghent sets basis for a new, forward-looking electronic health record

We’re proud to announce that the University Hospital of Ghent (UZ Gent) has entered into partnership with Cerner for the implementation of a fully integrated electronic health record (EHR). Together with Cerner, UZ Gent will start their EHR project immediately. The project is called Geniuz, a reference to Ghent, information and UZ. The main objectives of Geniuz are to prepare UZ Gent for the future and increase patients’ involvement in their wellbeing. The partnership is an important step in the realisation of eHealth.

Oavsett om det är möjligt att mäta vad som är "bäst" så har Gabriel Wikström och SKL satt ett högt mål som kommer att kräva en hel del arbete. Den kanske viktigaste uppgiften blir till att få läkare, kliniker, patienter och befolkningen till att tro på visionen, göra den till sin egen och delta för att uppnå resultat.
