Because innovation is key in healthcare, Cerner, in cooperation with Sahlgrenska Science Park, HealthTech Nordic and Vitalis, launched the eHealth Award initiative in 2017. The award is a response to the Swedish government and SKL’s Vision for eHealth 2025, which states: “In 2025, Sweden shall be the best in the world at utilising the opportunities presented by digitalisation and eHealth, with the aim of achieving a fair and equal health and welfare system, whilst also developing and strengthening resources to enable increased engagement and participation by individuals in society. Increased digitalisation will enable organisational support to ensure social services, healthcare and welfare, and dental services of high quality.”
The eHealth Award aims to draw attention to all the great eHealth innovations that exist in Sweden today, as they can contribute to more efficient and safer care processes, and more engaged patients and citizens. The award is open to Swedish start-ups and small businesses with innovative solutions and products for digital health. The award will relaunch on 24 January 2019 - follow the Facebook page for more information.

We also partner with some of the most innovative third-party technology, service and medical device suppliers in the world. These collaborations enable us to help our clients tackle the complex challenges of health and care, and maximise the benefits they derive from our solutions.
