  • The Cerner eMAR standardises record keeping, improving patient safety as well as operational and workflow efficiencies.

Cerner’s eMAR offers a user view that is similar to paper-based systems and provides a comprehensive record of medication administration activities, including information about:

    • Medications previously administered
    • Medications past due
    • Pending medications
    • Medications scheduled for the future

Cerner’s eMAR also gives details about medications to be given on an as-needed basis and continually administered medications such as IV fluids. Nurses may access the patient activity list within the eMAR, supplying them with additional medication information and other care-related activities scheduled to occur at a particular time.
