Over the past several years, we’ve moved to a software delivery model that provides an avenue to deploy smaller, more frequent software changes. Solutions such as HealtheIntent, PowerChart Touch™ and CareAware® are all making use of this innovative software delivery process. This practice is called Continuous Delivery (CD), and its success requires the use of automated pipelines that build and promote code through rigorous automated gates. If anything in a gate fails, the build fails and it’s sent back to the engineer for resolution. Tighter alignment between the operational and development organizations has driven many advancements in platform capabilities that will improve the overall end-user experience of our solutions.
