To help your organization during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cerner is offering a suite of virtual and on-site services to screen, test and treat COVID-19 to help mitigate risks across your workforce.

On-site temperature screenings

Trained professionals conduct temperature checks for employees upon arrival to work. Employees screened with a temperature of >100.3 are flagged, and your organization will be notified. Staff are equipped with infrared, no-touch thermometers and personal protection equipment (PPE).

To help you provide COVID-19 testing to employees who need it, our team will advise on the optimal form of diagnostic or antibody testing. Trained professionals are available to provide on-site testing.

Cerner can help provide your workforce with 24/7 digital access to primary care. Employees and their dependents can connect with a U.S.-based, board-certified physician, search physician-written content and receive guidance about COVID-19-related symptoms.

Cerner care managers leverage a digital care management solution embedded with COVID-19 care plans. Cerner care managers can engage with employees through the digital application with automated virtual check-ins to proactively intervene and provide recommendations.

SMECO on-site health center

Since working with Cerner to launch an on-site health center in 2014, the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) has been able to provide a wide array of services to its employees and retirees including health coaching, physical therapy and most recently, virtual health services amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, SMECO has also experienced financial success with its claims remaining steady year after year.

Your members can have convenient access to affordable prescriptions and over-the-counter medications with our on-site pharmacy. Whether independent from or integrated with your health center, the pharmacy helps support improved medication adherence and productivity.

Muskoskeletal Health

Cerner Motion Health reveals musculoskeletal issues and when people are armed with information about the mechanics of their bodies, they are empowered to make their bodies healthier and stronger. When specialty physician visits, radiology test, prescriptions, physical therapy and surgery can be reduced or avoided, health care expenses are reduced.
