William D. Zollars has been a director of Cerner Corporation's Board of Directors since May 2005. He is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of YRC Worldwide, a position he held from November 1999 to July 2011. Zollars was president of Yellow Transportation, Inc., from September 1996 through November 1999.

From 1994 to 1996, Zollars was senior vice president of Ryder Integrated Logistics. He also held various executive positions with Eastman Kodak.

Zollars serves on the board of CIGNA Corp. He also serves on the boards of the National Association of Manufacturers, Business Roundtable, United Way of Greater Kansas City, American Trucking Association and The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Zollars has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
