Shellee Spring, senior vice president, Cerner Ambulatory, is responsible for expanding Cerner’s ambulatory footprint and oversees ambulatory client relationships, business development, solution delivery, consulting, and services that drive value to our ambulatory clients. Spring also has executive responsibility for Cerner’s Application Service Provider deployment model PowerWorks®.
Spring joined Cerner in 1989 as an engineer within the foreign systems interface group.
She later transferred to Cerner consulting and served in numerous leadership roles for health system projects across the United States where she was promoted to vice president.
In 2002, she moved into the role of vice president and general manager with responsibilities over revenue cycle, PowerInsight® reporting and resource planning. Under Spring’s leadership, Cerner increased its global solutions presence through a strategic nationwide healthcare technology contract with the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Cerner, Spring was a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer information systems from William Woods College in Fulton, Mo.
