Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Wins 2015 Magnet Prize

At the ANCC National Magnet Conference® in Atlanta, GA, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) announced Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a part of Miami Children's Health System, in Miami, Florida, as the winner of the ANCC 2015 Magnet Prize® sponsored by Cerner, a global leader in health care technology.

Nicklaus Children's Hospital is recognized for the Humpty Dumpty Falls Prevention Program. Pediatric safety prevention is a focal point of the educational endeavors at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. This facility is a leader in developing a tool to prevent pediatric falls and thereby enhance safety. This fall-prevention program is proven to be an effective tool in the prevention of unintentional injury due to falls and is used around the world.
