Since that time, staff and clinicians have leveraged several Oracle Cerner tools to better deliver care and optimize processes.
Saudi Arabia hospital reduces pediatric deaths from sepsis with electronic alert system
King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre implemented an electronic alert system, built off Cerner's St. John's Algorithm, to help detect sepsis and systemic inflammatory response syndrome earlier in pediatric patients. By implementing this technology, the mortality rate for patients admitted to the PICU with sepsis or severe sepsis had reduced significantly, from 29% to 17%.

To accelerate innovation and efficiency across its facilities, Mubadala Health, the integrated healthcare network of world-class healthcare facilities, today announced a strategic collaboration with Oracle. As part of a new agreement, the network will utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) via the Oracle Cloud Dubai Region to run its Oracle Cerner electronic health records (EHR) system.
