Cibola General Hospital (CGH), a 25-bed critical access health care facility, has selected Cerner to upgrade its Electronic Health Record (EHR) and billing systems across the continuum of care. The health system recently signed a 10-year agreement to use Cerner Millennium®, a health care IT platform designed to support and engage consumers throughout their health care journey.

Through this agreement, CGH will use Cerner CommunityWorksSM, a cloud-based deployment model tailored to help community health care organizations securely share patient health history, including clinical and financial data, across multiple venues of care. The new Cerner EHR will be used throughout CGH and its large family practice clinic, Cibola Family Health Center.
