Cerner will demonstrate its focus on the health care consumer experience and creating smarter and more efficient health systems at Booth 1832 at HIMSS18, March 5-9, at the Venetian – Palazzo – Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Cerner works to solve the health system challenges that hospitals and clinics face each day. At HIMSS18, Cerner will provide a look at its integrated solutions that add value for members of the care team and the entire health system, while keeping the person at the center of health and care.
“It’s a new era in health care. Health systems today have to think about how to become better organizations moving forward,” said Brent Shafer, CEO, Cerner. “With an aging population and rising consumption of health care, it is increasingly important to connect the dots between providers. We can make those connections and influence smarter care in meaningful ways, creating a healthier tomorrow for future generations.”
Inside Cerner’s Booth
At HIMSS18, Cerner will showcase contextual, intelligent experiences and continuous advancements to further wellness and well-being and demonstrate a broad range of solutions that showcase how Cerner can help solve the daily and long-term challenges health systems and organizations face.
Demonstrations will highlight how health systems can become data-driven organizations, connect their enterprise to create longitudinal records, streamline operations, optimize the consumer engagement experience and prepare for value-based contracting and pay for performance.
“As health care continues to change in dynamic ways, so does our approach to improve outcomes, reduce costs and streamline operations for our clients,” said Zane Burke, president, Cerner. “HIMSS is an opportunity for us to meet with providers and our partners and collaborate to shift toward better quality, consumer-centered care.”
Interoperability Showcase™ Booth 11955
At the Interoperability Showcase, organizations demonstrate a person’s connected care journey, illustrating the impact systems have on clinical outcomes and the patient experience. This year, Cerner will participate in six use cases, demonstrating device connectivity capabilities with CareAware iBus® and data exchange through its Health Information Exchange, as well as highlighting CommonWell Health Alliance® services. Cerner’s functionality will be shown in rural and military venues, home care, radiology, public health and nationwide care. Through these connected demonstrations, attendees will see how connectivity and interoperability solutions can mobilize health data within a hospital system and across organizations.
The Interoperability Showcase is located on Level 1, Hall G, Booth 11955 and is open during exhibit hall hours.
Cerner will showcase integrated solutions for cybersecurity including identification, advance authentication, auditing and log correlation. Paired with consulting expertise and managed services, Cerner offers malware and ransomware protections for the top attack vectors.
