"We’re catching nursing up to the 21st century and where we need to be with Cerner as a partner," said Laura Brower, RN, chief nursing officer, Augusta University Health. "It’s exciting."
The long-term nature of these relationships allows Cerner and your organization to take advantage of predictable IT spending and realize the expected value of purchased solutions.
"Cash flow, capital and operating costs [can] be predictable over a 10-year horizon," said Susan Green, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Mass.
We create an on-site project management office (PMO) structure with centralized support to access broader knowledge from other ITWorks clients. This office also offers flexible resources as needed.
"When ITWorks came in, they provided the steps and processes to get a PMO in place," Michael Aliotta, ITWorks project manager, Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, N.Y. "I’ve been able to learn and see, first hand, building a PMO and what a project management office should look like."
