Vice President, Cerner Nordics and Benelux
As the vice president of Cerner Nordics and Benelux, Amanda has responsibility for our current and emerging business opportunities in Norway, Finland, Sweden, The Netherlands and Belgium.
Amanda is focused on enhancing our local client relationships, managing the successful transition of our business and driving our sales efforts in some of our most significant opportunities globally.
Amanda joined Cerner in 2006 as the commercial lead for the United Kingdom National Health Services (NHS) Southern Programme for IT. She was also the UK sales director until 2008, when she relocated to Ireland to become the first general manager there. She has been working across Nordics since 2012, most recently as Nordic regional executive.
Before Cerner, Amanda spent 13 years in Xerox across a wide range of technical and sales roles.
Amanda has a 30-year track record in IT, and she has focused exclusively on the application of technology in health care for the past 16 years. She is especially proud of her work in Ireland, where she was responsible for securing two national opportunities; Maternal & Newborn Clinical Management System (MN-CMS), the national maternity and newborn electronic health record (EHR) system; and MedLIS, the national laboratory programme.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Sussex and has a Bachelor of Arts in international relations. She also holds a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Hertfordshire.
