International i.s.h.med live is always special, but there was extra reason to celebrate at this year’s event in Berlin, as i.s.h.med® turned 25.
As with any significant milestone, we celebrated the platform’s history – including a live band – but the main focus of the event was on considering its future, which is undoubtedly bright and exciting.
Over 200 partners and clients joined us in the luxurious surroundings of the Berlin Marriott Hotel, as we showcased the strategic plan to transfer i.s.h.med to the cloud via Cerner as a Service (CaaS) over the next few years, and presented One Cerner Style, the design philosophy that will make the platform that more intuitive to use.
A few lucky attendees were also able to get hands on with One Cerner Style to give them a taste of what is to come, and to allow them to offer feedback about what functionality they would find most useful when using the platform.
This was a perfect example of the collaborative structure that i.s.h.med thrives on, and this extended into some of the sessions too, with many partners – including SAP, Common MS, Informatics, Sierra, Medanets and T-Systems – hosting their own workshops to give visitors insights into what they’re working on, such as patient records on mobile devices, and the value of digitalization.
Our partners were also present in the Market Place, giving attendees from 19 countries the opportunity to discuss the now and the next of health and care, with plenty of takeaways for both clients and partners alike.
